Have you been to Mochi?

When it’s sweltering outside and that damn Florida sun won’t stop burning your back—just cool down at Mochi! Mochi is the hippest, trendiest, most modern frozen yogurt cafe around. Located at 3841 SW Archer Blvd, Mochi is a great pick-me-up on a hellishly hot day or an after dinner treat.

Eight self-service ice-cream, ah hem, I mean frozen yogurt machines sit in the back and offer flavors like Strawberry, Mango, Almond, Cookies n Cream, Coco-nilla, and Taro.

Once you get the frozen yogurt— it’s on to the toppings bar, where you can find every topping your heart could desire. From fresh diced kiwi’s, watermelons, pineapples, raspberries, strawberries, mangoes, hand-picked blueberries and blackberries, white chocolate, coconuts, pound cake, captain crunch, chocolate chips, granola, almonds, walnuts, peanuts, M&M’s, and of course Mochi! – a gummy Asian rice cake made out of sweet rice flour.

And the grand total is only $.45 cents an ounce— on average mine totals about $5. The atmosphere is advanced, eco-friendly and trendy, with pastel pink oblong tables, plastic pink chairs and Wi-Fi access it’s a great place to escape the Florida heat. And with no fattening calories like ice-cream or gelato, you’ll forget that this desert is good for you. 0% fat, low-calories, and cholesterol-free!

Mochi has two other locations in Orlando and Jacksonville, and another one opening in Downtown Gainesville. For more information visit their website at mymochiyogurt.com.
