Kilmanjaro to raise awareness for the world's water shortage. Together they produced
Summit on the Summit, a documentary about Africa's current water crisis.
The climbers spent time in a Tanzanian village where they saw the effects of the global water crisis. In America, we are privileged-- currently, over one billion people across the world don't have access to clean drinking water and are forced to drink from bacteria-filled rivers and streams which quickly lead to disease and death.
This problem can't be solved overnight, but PUR Water Filtration is working on ways to end the dirty water epidemic.
