The 'Crazies' Review
I just saw the movie the 'Crazies.'Not worth the $9.75 that Royal 16 charged us...!...well him! Lol. It wasn't even that scary...with that basic-ass story line. Oh please! There's something in the water and it turns the inhabitants of small-town Odgen Marsh into 'crazy' zombies who just want to kill anything that comes into their path. Haven't you heard it before? I know I have. There were a couple of underlying themes that were pretty entertaining, like don't trust the government- they don't care about the individual. They're off making biomedical warfare weapons to remove whole populations and dropping bombs for high-speed incineration-- they don't give a shit about you, your mom, your dog. All they want is your money and your soul. Lol. But back to the 'Crazies,' the main character is the Sheriff of Odgen Marsh, and he will do anything to protect his pregnant wife who is also local doctor. It's all very heart-warming until the town drunk comes to the little league baseball game with a cocked rifle and the Sheriff drives a bullet right thru his skull. Then the story takes them on a journey into zombie land, where the 'Crazies' become government quarantine subjects, and of course the people rebel and then they burn the town down... The End. Seriously, that was the end. Wait until it comes out on DVD or check out a Youtube clip if you desire more details... it really wasn't worth it.
